Leadership
Lance Wright, MSW, LCSW
President/CEO
Lance Wright is the founder and CEO of Wright Choices, Inc., where he has led the organization for 30 years. A Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a Master of Social Work from Norfolk State University, he has spent his entire career in disability services — beginning as a job coach for the Hampton-Newport News Community Services Board before founding Wright Choices in 1995.
Under his leadership, Wright Choices has built a reputation for individualized service and measurable outcomes across Hampton Roads, holding seven consecutive three-year CARF accreditations since 2000 and serving as an approved provider for Virginia DARS and DBHDS.
In addition to leading Wright Choices, Lance maintains a clinical practice at Associated Counselors of Tidewater, where he specializes in couples therapy.
Mike Palmer
Supported Employment Manager
Mike joined Wright Choices in 2021 as the SE Manager. He previously worked as an SE Manager for a local provider. Prior to work in supported employment, Mike worked in marketing & sales.
Pria Carr
Executive Assistant &
Compliance Officer
Pria joined Wright Choices in 2025 as an Executive Assistant and now has the incorporated role as the Corporate Compliance Officer. Pria is originally from England where she worked as an Executive Assistant for a public relations firm.
Shamin Delk
Supported Employment Supervisor
Shamin joined Wright Choices in 2016 as Southside Job Coach bringing with her a strong background in customer service and team leadership from her previous role as a Customer Service Manager. During her time in management, Shamin developed a passion for creating opportunities for persons with disabilities and proudly hired and supported individuals with divers abilities in the workplace.
Shamin earned her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Keiser University and has continued to build her career around helping individuals discover their strengths, achieve their employment goals, and become valued members of the workforce.
Shamin believes everyone deserves the opportunity to work, contribute, and experience the confidence and independence that meaningful employment can provide. Her commitment to empowering others is what continues to drive her passion with Wright Choices.
